Why Air Quality Services? AQS has a staff experienced in a wide variety of issues concerning today's regulatory demands on industry and utilities. We have crafted a team with specific experience in assisting these clients. AQS is very proud of the high level of quality folded into every work product. Client satisfaction is of paramount importance. The members of our staff are committed to completing all aspects of every project on schedule and to the highest standards of excellence.

Although AQS is not very old, our key staff is very well-seasoned, with more than 160 years experience in electric utilities, a broad assortment of industries (manufacturers, refiners, foundries, etc.), consulting, and government service. We also have former regulators & researchers on staff. This background, along with solid educational credentials, provides us the knowledge and skills to identify, understand, and resolve our Clients’ regulatory and business needs.

Daniel L. Todd, QEP, CHMM - President, has 33 years in the air pollution field, including experience in the utility industry, a regulatory agency, university research, and in consulting services. At various times, he has been responsible for understanding and implementing regulatory requirements involving: emissions monitors; ambient monitors; source testing; as well as the record keeping, reporting, and submission of information. Further, he has assisted a wide variety of manufacturing and utility clients in their efforts to understand and comply with air pollution control programs. (qualifications)

Our project managers and technicians have extensive experience in a wide range of air related issues. Staff members regularly receive training classes to enhance their current level of expertise and are encouraged to participate in air related organizations and societies. In addition to undergraduate degrees in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry and Business and graduate degrees in Engineering & Environmental Science, we are proud to note that our staff includes individuals who have achieved certification in areas such as: Certified AMA Manager, Certified QS 9000 Auditor, Certified Method 9 - Visual Emissions.
