Air Quality Services Changes Ownership

Air Quality Services, LLC (AQS) announced the sale of Vectren Corporation’s ownership stake in AQS to Daniel L. Todd, effective Feb. 1, 2009. Environmental Management Consultants, Inc., retains the remaining ownership of the joint venture company.

AQS is an Evansville-based company in its 11th year of operation. The company employs a seasoned, multi-disciplinary professional staff dedicated toward providing regulatory compliant, air-related environmental services to the industrial and utility sectors. These include source emissions testing, permitting, air dispersion modeling, continuous emissions monitoring systems O&M and integration, ambient air monitoring, and related support services.

Todd has more than 34 years experience in the environmental profession and has guided AQS from its inception, in serving as general manager until 2008 when he was promoted to president. He has held numerous leadership positions with local, state and national environmental associations and is a Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) and Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM).

Pamela Block Named Manager of Ambient & Consulting Services

EVANSVILLE, IND., JAN. 24 - Air Quality Services, a joint venture of Vectren Corporation and Environmental Management Consultants, Inc., announced today the promotion of Pamela M. Block to Manager of Ambient & Consulting Services of Air Quality Services, LLC, effective Jan. 1, 2008.

Pam has 19 years of related experience and has held the position of project engineer at AQS since the company was founded October 1998. Before joining AQS, she worked as an environmental engineer, civil/structural engineer, and local EPA inspector.

Pam holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from the University of Southern Indiana, and has completed course work toward a Master of Science in Industrial Management from the University of Southern Indiana.
