Stack Testing Project Manager

Air Quality Services, LLC (AQS) is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as Stack Testing Project Manager to focus on providing air pollution compliance and diagnostic emissions testing services to clients in the industrial, commercial, and institutional fields.  This full-time position involves a significant amount of field work and travel approximately 40% of the time.  Potential candidates must be able to meet the following criteria:

  • High attention to safety and quality
  • Supervision and leadership skills
  • Maintain valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Successfully complete pre-employment physical and drug screen
  • Maintain compliance with random drug testing and DOT requirements
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Able to work in virtually all weather conditions (except for thunderstorms)
  • Able to climb ladders
  • Able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Manage staff and project scheduling
  • Manage, plan, and execute the field portion of client projects
  • Oversee documentation of project activities
  • Data analysis and QA/QC
  • Ensure compliance with ASTM D 7036-04 requirements
  • Timely filing of report documentation
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word®, Excel®, and Outlook®
  • Maintain client contact via site meetings, phone calls, and e-mail
  • Act as a liaison between clients, government agency representatives, and laboratory personnel

This position requires expertise in US EPA Test Methods for air emissions sources, strong written and oral communication, well-developed computer and organizational skills, and attention to detail.  Ideal candidates should have an Associate’s Degree or higher in a science or engineering field.  A minimum of four (4) years of stack testing experience is required, and QI/QSTI certification is preferred.
